The instructor should utilize the discussion forum to demonstrate methods of responding critically to prompts for both instructional purposes and student participation. It can also cut down on misunderstandings that could go unnoticed because of the absence of face to face time. The instructor can enrich a student's online experience by using different methods to provide feedback. The instructor should use different forms of feedback such as screenshots with commentary, providing links, and using images to name a few. When feedback is communicated well to the online learner the student will feel valued, appreciated, and motivated to learn.
